We’ve got brains

Preproduction.
A video is not made randomly. Thanks to our business background we understand how everything starts from powerful insights about your target audience. We help you to better define your needs, strategy and message. We brainstorm to provide various creative options. Once you pick up one, we organize everything to make sure you get exactly what you expect.

  • Meeting
We meet you, we talk, we ask questions and,
most importantly, we listen to your answers.
  • Benchmarking
We study best video practices, we keep an eye on competitors,
we understand what matters in the industry.
  • Brainstrorming
We get inspired by others, we get together to
imagine new stuff, we come up with ideas.
  • Pitching
    We select our best ideas,
    we introduce them to you.
  • Writing
We arrange concepts, we sometimes mix them, we build a
story, we write a treatment, we define characters
  • Storyboarding
we sketch, we bring ideas to life on paper, we give
you a clear understanding of what you will get
  • Planning
We select the perfect team for your project,
we schedule, book and organize everything
Case study
airbnb
airbnb
Airbnb wanted to leverage on video content to position itself as the number 1 option to travel in France. However they had no idea which message and which type of video would best fit for that purpose. We advised them to create a fictional web series. We wrote original stories based on what matters to them, with strong characters and a playful tone of voice.
Shoot

Production.
We bring together the perfect team and handle everything. We are super flexible style and locationwise. If needed, CROPPERS from all around can shoot at the same time. Whether it is for a cinematic scene for a web series or an indepth interview for a short documentary we always pay the same attention to details. And, yes, good news: thanks to significant advances in technology, highquality video content no longer means high production costs.

  • Directing
We keep the creative lead on the project, we guide both
cast and crew in the completion of our vision for you.
  • Filming
We handle cameras and arrange lights
to make each frame look great.
  • Sound engineering
We record dialogs, speeches and sounds, we believe highquality sound
is as important as beautiful images to create the perfect video.
  • Producing
We make sure everything is smooth and everyone onboard can focus
on achieving their job without worrying of anything else.
  • Renting
We select and provide all cameras, lenses and accessories
your project needs to be brought to life.
  • Casting
If we need to embody your brand or service, we find the
perfect cast among our extended network of actors

The pallet industry may not be the sexiest one, but LPR managed to build a strong brand identity with a focus on people and innovation. They wanted to show in a creative way how its commitments are expressed at each step of its product lifecycle. Motion design and 3D tracking played an important part to clarify the message and create a sense of innovation.

Adrien Degouve

Adrien graduated from HEC Business School. He had a chance to get familiar with creative project management at TBWA\Paris. There he realized the need for a lighter and faster creation ecosystem to meet the new aspirations of digital players. Content must be fresher, budgets lower - to target fragmented audiences - and reactivity higher. Meanwhile he has always been amazed by the talent of independent creators and sees it as an opportunity for brands to engage their audience.

He develops a deep understanding of ever-changing potentialities offered by digital platforms. He constantly analyzes how the impact of quality content can be brought further on those platforms and love sharing those insights with CROP THE BLOCK's clients.
